Each creation bears its own name, resembling horses at the paddock, barn or race track. Perfect for wearing to the Kentucky Derby, Santa Anita, Del Mar, Saratoga, Breeder's Cup, Keeneland, the KY Oaks races or other Equestrian events, such as Polo Matches, Steeplechases, Belmont, Melbourne Cup or the Royal Ascot. Each hat also comes with two lucky betting numbers to take to the racetrack.
 
Three of Hats Off by Helen hats have been chosen to be in a juried yearlong exhibit of 20 hats at the Kentucky Derby Museum 2015- 2019. One won the "Judge's Choice Award" and is featured in the exhibit through June 2019. In 2020 our hat won the award "Most Representative of the Kentucky Derby."
