This hat is a lime green medium brimmed stiff sinamay hat with an adjustable brim inside the crown. It features curled rooster feathers and zig zag cut feathers as well as loops of sinamay. This monochromatic look is a classic and we can add colors to tie in your dress if you’d like for a small fee. 
 
Each unique piece has its own name resembling a horse you might see at the racetrack, paddock or barn. Perfect for wearing to Breeder's Cup, Keeneland, the Kentucky Derby and KY Oaks races or other Equestrian events, such as Polo Matches, Steeplechases, Saratoga, Del Mar, Preakness, Belmont, Melbourne Cup or the Royal Ascot. Each hat or fascinator also comes with two lucky betting numbers to take to the racetrack.

Two of Hats Off by Helen hats were chosen for a juried yearlong exhibit of 20 hats at the Kentucky Derby Museum 2015-2016 and in 2018-19 the "Judges Award" went to our creative fascinator. In 2019-2020 our hat entry won "The Most Representative of the Derby Award."
